Seems to be the cheapest way to get the new Pixel 8 for existing Mint Mobile subscribers that doesn't involve porting to a different provider.

Note that the phone will be locked for 12 months to Mint--although it seems like some folks have had luck with unlocking Mint devices earlier by contacting Mint directly, typically around the 90 day mark. YMMV

Mint works fine for me as long as i am not in a heavily populated area. For example, I get full signal at the zoo but can't use the Internet.

Existing customers can buy from directly in the app. Doesn't say limited to new customers. The fine print says new ports in who buy phone and 12month sub get 50% of sub. Just ordered one myself to replace pixel 4a.

So my friend ordered this for his mom & she doesn't use any phone. Whats the best way for her to get a phone number so they can use full 1 year plan ?

Google voice. Sign up for a free google voice number and then you port out the number to mint for only $3

How does this unlock work for Mint? Do you need to have active Mint service on the phone for 12 months? I'm using Mint but not sure if I'm going to stay one more year

Got mine and I love it so far. Too many phones are MASSIVE and hard to hold. Also zero issues just putting my current Mint SIM into the pixel.

Great news if you bought the phone with this deal. It will be unlocked after 60 days on Mint network. This is a condition for T-Mobile acquisition of Mint that was just approved
