I own 3 of these, and I can say annecdotally from my own experience, that these have been pretty amazing. The first time I purchased it was at $99, and it quickly became the most stolen object in my household. Could never find the damn thing anywhere, everyone abused it, and it's probably journeyed more distance than I ever could in a lifetime, since it was being abducted for all sorts of trips. The biggest benefit is just how fast it can recharge, 1hr+ to full charge, keeping phones and tablets alive throughout the day. It is exceptionally heavy though, as you would expect for it's size, but all things considered, still very portable. I ended up purchasing 2 more, labeled them: house pet, travel pet, for the streets. Do I think it's worth the $99 when I bought them? I think $75 is more fair, maybe $80, have yet to see performance drop in terms of port and capacity, but at $90, i'll be picking up one more to label as: outdoors pet. Thanks OP for the post!
lol these power bank things have become so disposable that people buy them for trips and just leave them.. I swear I have like 5 and they power all the lights in my home

It needs 45w to charge while operating.
Correction - it could take up to 45W but is quite happy with 30W. Give it a minute or two after connecting, switch to power saving mode, and will charge just fine while operating with that Romos bank. And you can have 4 of them for the price of comparable advertized model. Been using it for quite some time. Ordering another now, price is too good. Enough for more than one full charge.

Is it allowed to bring on the airline?
Yes. Was just looking at mine yesterday to confirm it complies with TSA rules of <100WH - It's marked on the back as having total capacity of 86WH, so you're in the clear.

Anker, trusted name? Idk about that... Pretty sure they're sleeping with the CCP. They were spying on owners of their cameras.

They also have a like new version sold by Anker for $80. That's what I went with. Still figuring out if I need to upgrade my power banks or not. Buy now, figure it out later.

I have one and use it regularly. Very happy with it. Use it for SurfacePro, iPad, iPhone, Switch, etc.

I thought about getting a 2nd but the family largely uses the other smaller packet sized one for their phones so the 2nd wouldn't get used quite as much

Yes, they actually set the capacity at just below the airline limit.

Being a frugal Slickdealer, I've looked around for cheaper Power Banks and happened upon a similar capacity power bank from Move Speed: https://a.co/d/4YmxAqu

I've bought two of them about 6 months apart. First was $50 and included a 100W GaN charger and the second one I just purchased last week was a little over $28. Incredible deal for a 25000mAh 130W Output power bank. Just have to watch the product as the price fluctuates often to catch a deal.

In any case, it's worked great every time I use it. I don't have any devices that take 130W over USB-C but have confirmed it at least does 100W. It's only 1" thick and is 5 ounces lighter than this Anker. Not as much tech info on the display though, although I just need to know the watt draw and power remaining.

Anker, of course, is a trusted name. Worth the extra $$$ ?? Probably to most. But I like saving money too. Smilie
When it comes to lithium ion batteries and thing that can harness wall power, I choose to spend more on quality brands.

I took it with me on my flight. BZN didn't even check anything in my bag, and I had a drone, tablet, 2 GoPros, DSLR with lenses, this and like 12 lipo batteries. They did in ELP, wiped them down very slowly. No issues. It's under 100Ah, or I would have taken my portable solar power station.

It'll charge full in under an hour. I was charging my drone batteries and phone while it was plugged in all night so I could charge multiple things instead of just one from my charger, so that's a great benefit. I could only use one outlet without an outlet splitter.

These are great; I own one. The only complaint is I wish they made it into a slimmer form factor. I understand that there needs to be a certain number of 18650's inside but laying them out flat would be better when slipping into a laptop bag.

just ordered the MOVE SPEED for $30.98, thanks. worth a shot at that price.

another option is this POWERΛDD PRO Power Bank 50000mAh PD 65W USB C Portable Charger. I got it for $50 in Dec and it's been working great so far, but it's big. Right now it's $60
