Did you manually add the advertiser disclosure at the top left of this post? Or does that just appear automatically when you post a deal for companies that slickdeals has an agreement with?

Automatically. I don't have any control over that.

Been trying to get a light gaming laptop that can handle driving games at 1080p on high/ultra to a TV. Possibly with oculus VR. Otherwise this will be a general use, staying home, always plugged in. Portability is a low nice to have.

Do you recommend this at $780 with the amex discount, or for my needs this open box Asus: https://slickdeals.net/f/17360289-asus-15-6-oled-laptop-open-box-excellent-intel-core-i7-13620h-rtx-3050-16gb-memory-512gb-ssd-695-99?src=SiteSearchV2Algo

Does this Dell G15 have easily added NVME? Performance difference between 3050 vs 4060 for my needs is probably not a huge difference right?

I think the 4060 is a big step up

Looks like a good choice for someone who wants to use this as a desktop replacement w some gaming. They didn't use a high resolution screen to lower the price, which will make sense if you want to attach an external monitor. It costs more to build a desktop with similar specs (of course, the quality of the parts is a different issue.).

Don't get hung up on the specs. This thing is only as good as it's cooling. Dell always seems to skimp on proper cooling.
