You can get Tungsten-Carbide rings (which are stronger) for $20-$30. I have several that have lasted now for almost 6 years and are still rock solid: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=tungst...bi
EDIT: Yikes, I just looked, even the $20 ones on Amazon look like they're just branded (or in some cases not even branded) Aliexpress rings, some of which are less than $5: https://www.aliexpress.
