LPDDR are soldered by design. By soldering onto motherboard it draws less power and is slightly slower compared to regular ddr ram.

low powered DDR is only possible when soldered on. if it only says DDR ram its still not a good indication if you can upgrade or not, best way is to ask someone. be it slickdeals or google-fu

7530u is older gen GPU. It's very bad naming scheme by AMD to misguide consumers.

Same use cases as a chromebook or any other value machine. Surf, web-based productivity apps, join meetings, etc. With a modern browser that appropriately manages tab memory, you can do a lot with 8gb these days from a productivity standpoint.

Surprised when I found out no number pad. I do not care for laptops without them. Oh well. I guess they preferred putting in those speakers for those who care about sound quality.

This one? I searched FP, not found. This one is not FP, just popular. It may have shown up on the main site page, but that is not exactly the same. Look for orange tabs next to "popular" deals that are listed on the main page, and blue for true FP deals. I don't think the site is as straight forward as it should be in this respect.

If this one is not it, please link the one you meant. This one is an Inspiron 16. That one is also $100 more.

Maybe you meant the Costco Inspiron 15 though...That one is FP. But 15 vs 16 is a difference in screen size and resolution.
