Even if you know 8 people who want to go camping.... how many want to sleep in a crowded tent full of farting, snoring, turning, kicking, loud, getting up every 5 minutes.... etc...

An 8 person tent is more for like 4 people comfortably. Definitely not 8
Aluminum might go $99. Last deal was $199 and got more upvotes. I bit the bullet at $149 since the fiberglass sold out. Aluminum is preferred due to it's strength and flexibility compared to fiberglass. Plus if it bends it tends not to snap and shatter like fiberglass.
Also, reviews and walk-throughs for this tent on YouTube were favorable. Pretty easy to setup and ok for families of 4-5. I like the vestibule and the ability to extend it out a little more for additional storage.

Came here to say this. Across the board, you half the capacity of a tent to be comfortable, so that you're not shoulder to shoulder and can fit everyone's gear/clothes/backpacks.

When they were their own company based in Michigan? Or when they were owned by Walmart? Or now that they are owned by Dicks?
I am a big Moosejaw fan. I have a lot of their house brand gear and shopped there a lot. Loved our local store. But the first thing Dick's did was close all of the Moosejaw stores. I would think this is just the start of strip mining the brand and taking it apart.
Assuming (I could be wrong) that Walmart can't carry the product line anymore. Our Walmart used to have their coolers and they are all gone. The last one is in my garage because it was clearanced out.
