Nice deal op $84 without battery and charger but for 89 you get a charger and a battery not a bad deal for an extra five.
Depends which size you get. There are $30, $60 and $90 batteries. My $60 one lasts 4 hours on high, triple that for low.
If you wanted to go ice fishing, there's a $300 battery that will last all weekend.
But it's heavy and bulky.

Anyone that has owned these, get static issues? I bought and returned one during Christmas time, where I got shocked each time I took it off. I read it was a short in my toughshell jacket, but who knows. I ended up returning, but I still wonder if it was the jacket or the design. I'm tempted to get another toughshell, because I did like the design and material

Do these normally run large, small, or true to size?
From what I remember they ran a bit short as a taller bigger guy on the jacket. The xl at least. 6'2" 240. But they also have a sizing guide now.

I have the heated jacket, this hoodie, and the heated vest. I've never had that issue. Must have been defective.

It wasn't likely to have been a short shocking you at 12VDC.

Is this their hoodie? Or is the jacket hoodie different than their normal hoodie? Is their normal m12 hoodie on sale? Zip or pullover.

I'm asking because I'd rather have something like a hoodie than a stiff hoodie jacket

What's the humidity level in your house? Dry air will conduct more static electricity. That happened to me before but it felt like a normal static shock, nothing more.

It depends, I'm 5'11" 165, a size large ran a bit large for me.

The link at the top is for the hoodie. It's technically a full zip but it has a hood and the material is a bit softer. I think Milwaukee used to make an actual heated pullover hoodie but I don't know if they do anymore. There's also a link at the bottom of the post for the jacket.

My friends had the jacket first. That one is more of a stiff material. Milwaukee calls it tough shell. It'd be good for a job site since it is less likely to get snagged on things. But it is stiffer. The jackets were returned for the hoodies. My friends liked the hoodies more. More comfortable and warmer.

I'd say true to size. I'm somewhere around 6' - 6' 1" 195-200#s, and I bought a small to keep the heating elements close to the body and minimize any bagginess. It's a trim fit with my body type and wearing a polo & undershirt - I don't have large arms or chest (~40"), and I've got a little bit of belly. Sleeves are just long enough when standing. And there's enough stretch that I haven't noticed them riding up on my motorcycle. The length is fine when standing, the bottom settles a little below my belt line. Could be a little longer when on the bike, but it's stretchy enough to stay in place.

Having said that, this is definitely closer to a light-midweight hoodie than a jacket. I wouldn't expect this to be very useful in windy conditions unless there was a hardshell over it.

I have the hoodie. Don't expect it alone to keep you warm on cold days. You'll want to wear a jacket over it even with the heater on.

I have the hoodie as well. When in starts to get below the 50's, the sweater alone even on high is not enough. It is just not thick enough for that. But if you throw a good jacket over it and set the sweater on low and you'll be toasty outside in the 40,s and even 30's for most of your work shift. And once back inside, you can shed the jacket and go back to just sweater. It's comfortable and I like it a lot.

But I washed it quite a few times over the two years that I have had it and it stopped working. There must be a short somewhere as it blows the soldered internal fuse on the battery adapter when trying to turn it on. Charging cord looks ok. At this price, probably going to get another one of these instead of ripping it open to find the issue.

Edit: Deal still going so bought one today (3/27) to replace the old one. Thanks OP 🤙

huge fan of ororo, but thought I would guve this a try as all my ororo gear are hardshell, wanted something to fit under a jacket. This feels great, nice heat, feels like you have a flashlight in your pocket and when its zipped it pulls slightly in the front, hardly noticeable. unzipped it feels lopsided with the battery. Gonna be great for wirk abd a good price
