May not be the lowest but seems like a good deal for a powerful hammer drill [amazon.com].

Just as an FYI, this is one of the most powerful drills out there, 1250 in lbs of torque. That is 104 ft lbs, or enough to torque down a car wheel lug nut. Not using the second handle arm, if the bit jams, this thing will twist your wrist right into a sprain. Not many regular sized drills are this powerful.

I have this and it is a beast. I primarily bought it to drill holes for ice fishing which it does with ease. Used it in hammer mode to drill holes in concrete. And you're right, if you use this on a lug nut without the side handle you could easily injure your wrist (don't ask me how I know that). Great deal

Agreed. I have this drill and it is a beast. I believe it's still Makita's flagship 18V hammer drill. Not sure what OP is talking about. You will not find an 18V drill with much more torque than this from any brand. Milwaukee or Flex may have slightly more but if you're in the Makita battery system, no reason to switch.

This is usually $150 retail, so $100 is a good price.

not really the right tool for lug nuts/bolts. You want an impact wrench/driver for that.

no one thinks you should use a drill for lug nuts, plus, even with an impact you still want a torque wrench. he was comparing it's torque in a relatable manner.

i have the milwaukee m12 drill and i use it most of the time cause it's light and easy to use and i like it... but when that drill can't get the job done, i bring out big daddy, the makita drill, there's no job this drill cant do.. just hold on for dare life and let this drill work its magic,,, like others said, its powerfull, i also have his brother the high impact, both are strong... careful u might break a wrist... they should have warning labels on these thing consider how strong these are.
