I have this chair, great for a large person, but very heavy and awkward to transport
Funny that the people that need this complain about it being big and awkward. When more than likely, anyone looking at this chair IS big and awkward (like me.)

I have an older version of this from Walmart and love it! Very sturdy and has last over the years with no problem. Highly recommend if you are a bigger guy and need a sturdy chair

Almost pulled the trigger on these, but wasn't super excited about carrying around 40lbs worth of awkward chair. Found Colemans that are rated for 600lbs though.
Then I found those coleman chairs on secondipity

Bought one last year, it's pretty cool to have for parties. 2 (smaller) people can sit on it so it's like a couch

This chair is far better built than Colemans or anything on the market. Been using one for 7 years and it's still like new, even though I travel with it to festivals, outdoor concerts, mardi gras parades, etc. It weighs about 20 pounds which is a lot for a folding camp chair, but it is amazingly sturdy and the side table really comes in handy. The canvas seat is very thick and does not hurt your thighs if you sit for long periods of time, like at a 4 hour concert or event. We carry a folding cart to carry our chairs and ice chest to events, so the chair really is not hard to tote as the cart does all the work. I also use the cart to take my chair and fishing gear out on the pier.

I have another one that sits on the back patio and even in the Louisiana humidity, it has never rusted and I can see these things lasting 20 years easily.

I'm 6'5", and on the shorter side for my family. These are the only comfortable chairs for us lmao and most of us are athletic types.

These are 100% just going on my porch though 21pbs might be lightweight baby but when you're hauling six of them to go camping...

Can you leave this chair outdoors in the rain?

Can you leave this chair outdoors in the rain?
We have left ours outdoors in the rain several times over the years, although the majority of the time, they stay under a patio or in the back of my wife's van. We just went to Mayfest here in Louisiana and I brought one. We also went to the Red, White and Blue airshow in Monroe this past weekend and used one all day and it is very comfortable. Couple weekends ago, we were at the Boudin Festival in Lafayette and we have many other festivals to go this summer. We lug these chairs everywhere as we travel each weekend to events all around the state.

I will say that on the back of the chair, there are 2 metal supports, one on each side. At the top of those supports is a little black plastic plug. It's to keep rain water from getting into the metal frame. I found they are not really water tight after a few years of ownership. So I took my pocket knife and gently pried these plastic tops off. Then I took some JB Weld epoxy and coated the bottom of each tab and stuck it back into the chair frame. That sealed out any water from ever getting in, and those caps will never come out. If your not familiar with JB Weld, it's an epoxy(think of it like industrial super glue), that you can buy in a tube at Walmart.

At the bottom of each chair frame, there is a small curve in the front and back of the frame. In those curves, there are 2 screws, one at each curve. They will start to rust after 4-5 years. The frame won't because it's powder coated, but those little screws will. So to prevent that, I just put a little dab of the JB Weld on the screws. It water proofed them and seals them permanently. The JB Weld will last 10 years easily, so you won't ever have to worry. You could also put a dab of silicone on those screws, like you'd use to seal around a bathtub or sink. They won't rust the first few years, but after a while I guess whatever coating is on the screws from the factory, wears off. The frame, like I said is powder coated so I don't see it ever rusting as after 7 years the frame still looks like new.

The fabric of the seats has never faded or become worn. It's very thick and I don't know how many hours I've sat in mine, but I don't see wearing it out anytime in the next 10 years. I've already owned them for around 7 going on 8 years now. We had 4 at one time, but my wife got a bit tipsy at the Pecan Festival this year and left one of the chairs there. I went back the next morning to see if it was still out there, but someone had already taken it. We keep one on the back patio, another in my truck and one in her van. Even normal sized people love to sit in them all the time. At our family get togethers, people love me to bring the extra ones I have, because they are so roomy and they have a nice table on the side, to set your drinks, phones and plate of food on.

As far as that side table, when you use it, be sure to lock in the 2 support bars. When you fold the table up and into position, the little arms that bring it up and down, have a black tab in the middle of them. Gently push up on the tab and the arm will sort of lock into place, thus keeping the table from crashing down with your drinks and food on it. Trust me, if you set your coke on the table and it swings down and spills your drink, you'll learn real fast and never forget to lock it in place again, lol. Even people that sit beside me at some of these festivals and events, will ask if they can set their drink on my side table while they eat, lol.

Last but not least, these go on clearance about twice a year it seems. I used to be scared they would quit making them, as to why we have extras. I don't know if they ever will or not, but I still have 3 and two of them hardly ever get used, so I think if I had to make them last, I'm good for at least 20-30 more years with what I have. They don't come with covers or carrying bags like some fold up chairs. They are much bulkier, but if you go to a lot of outdoor events, just get one of those little canvas wagons and throw the chair in there and use it to wheel them around.

Probably over answered that question!
