Cold Stone has a weird pricing system. If you buy a single scoop or their largest creation the price is within a $1. I believe they charge $6 for a single scoop and $6.80 for their largest creation sundae at my nearest location. So the price for two would be over $10 before tax, then you have a BOGO coupon to bring the price in half. I would not buy anything other than the largest size for this deal. Put the rest in the freezer and then take out for room temp for about 15 minutes before eating is the best way to maximize this deal.

Good deal. I remember liking their ice cream from years ago. I also recently got into making ice cream at home, and I highly recommend it. Not only it's a huge money saver but also super fun and easy. You just freeze a bowl overnight, mix ingredients, and churn it in a machine (then mix in whatever toppings you want). I made rum raisin ice cream the other day because stores don't carry it anymore. It was sooooo good (I soaked raisins for days, not just hours).

Sure. I actually questioned this same thing myself. Basically, the cost ends up similar to buying "the cheapest ice cream" you can find at grocery stores. Churning increases the volume quite a bit. I was surprised by how much ice cream I could make with so little ingredients. In fact, when I tried the first time, I added too much and caused the ice cream to barely remain in the container. I buy 32 fl oz of heavy cream for $4.68 from Sam's Club. That yields about 3 quarts or more depending on what other ingredients you add. But, the best part is, the ice cream you make is at the same quality as (or better than) expensive brand ice cream. So it's actually worth it if you want to enjoy quality ice cream at a fraction of cost rather than settling for low quality ones.

Just know that at home ice cream is costlier no matter how you wing it.Its mainly about the control or flavors and ingredients, fresh store made ice cream is better for the same flavor since they make it same day and use better machines.

I like the Coffee Lovers Only flavor. Get it about once every couple months. Not super sweet like some flavors but just the right amount. And I don't even drink coffee lol. Try it out
