These are still robbery prices. There is zero need to buy the LG brand of these. Right now I can get 3 filters with coupon and S&S with tax for $19.69. I've used these filters for quite some time. Same quality. Thinking you need to buy LG is exactly what they want you to think. Educate yourself people and save more money!!

Concur with LG branded filter being over priced, but the filter you linked doesn't have the same NSF/ANSI certs. This one does:

While I would normally agree, I originally purchased third party and the threads or notches were slightly off. When it was time to replace, ended up breaking the whole housing and costing something like $250 to replace…I now only use the LG ones

Use OEM for your peace of mind. Especially something that you intake into your body… You have no idea how some of chinese knock off filters made in mainland china… Trust me
