With the pricing on the 7600/x at the moment, this is probably the best am5 cpu and price for someone not jumping to an x3d. This comes with the wraith prism RGB cooler that is more than adequate so you're not immediately looking at another $30. Cooler plus 7600x... might as well just get the 7700.

Not super "on sale" necessarily but reasonable prices between 100-169 for ASRock b650m motherboards. I've had very good luck with them after first thing updating bios. They weren't the best am4 and before but they've really stepped up their game in past years and are now my go-to usually. Whichever you want depends a bit on features you need. I'd search PC part picker for b650m.. I don't see a reason to go with the cut down a620 boards
