I own these. I use them in stereo. I am not sure you can buy better towers brand new for $500. They are very dependent on placement and room. Not much low end, definitely would pair with a sub. They are warmer than any definitive I've ever heard, amazing for vocals and country / soul music. I have only heard the lower to mid end klipsch, not the top end stuff, but the horn tweeters on klipsch just aren't for me, definitely tire my ear out haha.

You are currently @ full stage 1 Dunning-Kruger, correct?

Jokes aside FWIIW Magnat is parented by Klipsch and both are owned by VOXX(audiovox)
DT, BW and Paradigm & Klipsch all make some good products and some suspect products. Best to research individual products and look for some detailed reviews and then try some products. Shopping by 'brand' is often the issue. There are hardly any brands(likley zero of them) that always make great products let alone ones meet the needs of every potential buyer.

There are a lot of very good sounding & good value hifi speakers out there along with some very overpriced ones and 1000 opinions about every one of them.

Anyone have experience with these? I have been looking at some Klipsch floor standing speakers with Dolby Atmos built in. Seems like a good price but this is somewhat new to me. They will be for a Home Theater setup. TIA

Klipsch will be easier to tone match for the full setup. Reviews say these are good at this price, but I would recommend for stereo setups not surround.

I have these and am very happy with them. I use them in a HT setup, so the lack of a low-end is no issue. I have white/gray walls, so the color is ideal. I have the D17s and use them in a stereo setup.

Any suggestion on these when compare to Klipsch 8060FA -II. These price is almost half when compare to Klipsch ordered two towers recently.

Please don't buy Klipsch. Only noobs do that. I own Magnats, DTs, BW, Paradigm and all are better than Noob Klipsch.
Every speaker has their place depending on budget.

Stereo: Grab these and that Klipsch RP-1400SW for $700 and you will have achieved incredible speaker value.

HT: If your room allows, grab multiple pairs of these for your surrounds! Why not, smaller bookshelfs + stands cost just as much. If you must tone-match center you can get the D5c https://www.adorama.com/dedemand5cw.html. But KEF Q150 [accessories4less.com] and Q350 [accessories4less.com] (coaxial speakers) work great as centers too (e.g. "laying down"). Bonus points they come in white too. A good receiver with room correction will let you "tone match" easily.

I have these and paired with the d5c center and an Airmotiv XS10 subwoofer. I am more than happy with the setup. Sounds amazing. My brother suggested these and I was not disappointed. Using a onkyo tx-nr6050 to power the floor and center speakers.

Actually, not every but most low end Klipsch has harsh sounding.

I am still debating whether I go for this or d17 . I am going to use mainly for ht setup ! Any suggestions from your experience. Thank you
