Note that this is not the same as their version of pure vanilla extract.

I would love someone to explain all the different vanilla extracts to me. I buy the extract at Costco which is highly rated for value but I feel like it's not that strong. I've read that imitation vanilla is better for baking/cooking because the flavor holds up better to heat but I hate consuming anything artificial. The vanilla paste products (diluted with sugar/thickeners/seeds) seem to be no more concentrated than these extracts (diluted with alcohol) so they don't seem to be a better option. Anyone have insights?

This is just a watered down version. You can compare the ingredients if you open up both items and look at the picture showing the back of the bottle. This version has water, sugar and glycerin as the first 3 ingredients. Vanilla extract is the 4th ingredient. So - really diluted.

Seems like everything is watered down or skrinkflation.

Messaging won't let me send more than 2 messages in 360 minutes, so I thought I'd try to reply here to you. If you'd like to contact me via email you can do so at srhodig at gmail, and we can try to figure out the AGC link there. Otherwise, I'll message you later this afternoon when I'm able to again.
