In my opinion the $100 difference between the P1P and the P1S is a no brainer upgrade. Their product comparison page makes self determining what works best for you pretty easy:

Normal price, not a deal, and get the P1S at minimum if you can swing the extra 100$.
X1C/AMS owner, love the printer and couldn't be happier with everything. I started life with a Creality CR10S… great to learn on, horrible to use as an actual tool, made me despise 3D printing. BambuLabs on the other hand… joy to use, it just works, all the time.
I hope you get one and have a similar experience to mine!
