NBA also promoted a defunct crypto exchange that lost $4.2 billion, so their endorsement isn't worth much.

If the specs for amplitude and stall force are available, they don't make it easy to find. Those are the two big differentiators. Amplitude is how long the stroke is, ie, how deep into the muscle it may go. Stall force is how hard you can press it into the muscle before it over powers the massage gun and stops (temporarily). All I could find is that it has a 40 watt motor, which doesn't say much, but the Hypervolt 2 had a 60w motor, and the Hypervolt 2 Pro has a 90w motor.

Anyone have experience with the quality in these? I've purchased SO many of these massage guns that are such garbage quality..
It's probably all relative in terms what you consider good and how often you use it. I bought this 2 years ago. It's pretty strong and the better life is good. I mostly only use it when I strain a muscle, like once every few months for a whole week or two. Paid full price, happy with it.

This is considered one of the best brands if not the best.
Agreed. HyperIce was early to market and has a great reputation for balancing quality, performance, and price. I've had the original Hypervolt for years and the battery life is still excellent.

Saw reviews and it doesn't seem to take much to stall. Will test against other models I have tomorrow and especially against my sharper image mini gun which is about same size

I believe Hyperice is mainstream brand that Kobe Bryant (I think NBA too) and a bunch of athlete endorsed, so its not like a no name brand.

I bought one to keep just in case mine goes out. I bought one on Kickstarter that is good to a degree. It works super good the only problem is the battery won't last long. So I keep it in the charger. I could not get it replaced. So I will keep this one as a back up.

Reviews for this specific one are kinda iffy ... I'll test it out tomorrow against other brands I have but for the price who cares
Exactly, the price is too good. I just bought a different brand for $199.00 (also travel size) and returned that one for this.

Hyperice is the real deal. Not a knock off. I've had one for 3 yrs after the cheap one from Costco got recalled. I made sure that I got a legit product after that .
