Seems pretty good price. How do these perform compared to the plug-in version … also need to find a battery deal!

Anyone have details on successfully getting any of these home depot "clearances"? Last couple I tried were fails. Saw the deal here... brickseek showed several on clearance, but when I went to that store rang up as original price....

I ask for an employee to check their hand held inventory scanner for pricing and inventory. Double check the sku/upc on the item. I have had items show for new mark down once or twice and it would be adjusted to the lower price. Clearance pricing will vary, ex: dewalt miter saw I posted month or so ago, it was $225 but most everyone was showing $315 and now it dropped to $225 for everyone.

Good post with pictures and descriptions!
My suggestion would be to add in the tag area of the advanced post other diy vendors such as Ace hardware, Lowes, and Menards so you get more eyes from people that are interested in these tools. If you do tag it with other vendors then it is nice to add the vendor in front of the post such as "Home Depot:" in this post so if a person is searching under Menards they can immediately see the vendor. My $.02. Your post is 200% better than my first post. Have a good day.

When I see Home Depot on SD, I rarely even bother opening it. I know it is not accurately reflective of the price in my entire state.

Or get misled and waste time visiting the stores based on the misinformation from Brickseek. Frown It shows Union City, CA has 4, found one on top of the shelf, though price is $490. Newark CA shows 4, found none.

Out of 5 YMMV Home Depot deals in the past year, I've been able to catch 2 of them so it's not all doom and gloom. Even when brickseek is bricked or inaccurate, you can call homedepot individual stores and use the phone prompt to check inventory. The deals are usually good enough to at least make an attempt.

Don't be afraid to look up at the overhead compartments. There was a cordless miter saw deal on here. Brickseek said there were a few in my store. Sure enough I found one all the way at the top of the hardware aisle of all places. Sometimes they are hard to find but Brickseek is usually pretty accurate around me

Does this method work for getting the price or only quantity?
