The other one was on sale for like an hour the other day. I think it was $590. Not sure what's happening doubt this will be on sale long.

This is an Android device that can use USB storage, so personally I'd say no. But it depends on how fast your Internet is, for keeping local space free and re-downloading things, and on how important it is to you to have a lot of apps and games installed at the same time.

Well, for once having to get up in the a.m. to pee paid off. I checked my phone before going back to bed, and saw a deal alert for this deal. I verified the price and that the seller was Amazon, and placed the order. I had been waiting for a deal on the Meta Quest 3 for a couple months before ordering. Thanks to the OP for letting me make that happen.
