Make sure to always read the terms & conditions and verify prices first yourself. Many users have reported this does a credit pull/check/inquiry so keep that in mind. Zip Pay often has some installment fees (usually $1-$4 in my experience) and high interest rates. I'm not sure if you can pay all at once to avoid the high APR (35%+ in my case).

In my experience, providers like Zip that provide 4 payment plans do not charge interest, only the installment fees. Affirm on the other hand charges interest once you finance for several months but they do not charge when you use their 4 payment plan. It does perform a soft credit check so you will not experience a hard inquiry thus it will not affect your credit.

I just used this promo to buy a few things. I was charged a $6 fee. It is split up into 4 installments, the first of which of which is paid immediately. The rest of the installments after the first are due every two weeks. I was given the option to pay the three remaining installments off immediately.

From doing credit reports it seems like unless your doing more than 6 credit checks a year it wont impact your score, as long as you have a good score already or established credit over a number of years. And even if it does impact you a few points, you can easily raise it in a month or two, and in a year those past ones are not considered.

Understood. What I'm wondering is if it does a soft pull or a hard pull which impact credit differently.

I don't know if you're doing something other than the zip pay in 4 but that does not do a hard credit pull

***EDIT***
The Amazon prices I referenced appear to be scam prices from a probably nonexistent Chinese seller. Don't do it!

BTW, I tried to figure out how to strikethrough and failed, so I just deleted it.

I've been watching the Sapphire on Amazon for the last week or so. The price of the 7900 XT (3rd party) has briefly dropped into the $500-600 range a couple times, and the XTX has done the same in the $600-700 range. The posted price here is good, but if you don't want to mess around with Zip, you might want to keep an eye on the Amazon listing.

These price drops on Amazon are clearly scam.

I've been out of the upgrade cycle for a bit. This is equal to 4070 Super right?
Thanks
