new.techies via eBay[ebay.com] has (Good; Refurbished) Dell Inspiron 14" 5430 Laptop: 2560x1600 120Hz, i7-1360U,16GB RAM, 1TB SSD on sale for $459. Shipping is free.
Soldered RAM? Pass. If you want to go refurb, why not go through Dellrefurbished.com (an official subsidiary of Dell)? Consistenly have 50% off sales on 10th Gen i5 and i7 Latitudes which are far better build quality, built to be easy to upgrade, are often upgraded to the max already, and unless you are gaming (which you couldn't do with this laptop anyway), offer a far better bang for the buck. The plus to this model is the high-resolution display, but lacks a touch display which many of the laptops sold at Dellrefurbished.
Dellrefurbished is currently selling 5310 and 5410 Latitudes for $229-$250. Don't mean to thread crap but though some folks may benefit from the heads up. A search on Slickdeals will reveal several recent postings of various deals.
I have bought 3 laptops from them in the last month and they've been absolutely pristine. If the battery is not up to snuff, a simple call to them gets you a new battery for no cost.
On Dell's website, there doesn't seem to be an option for 120Hz, just 60Hz. And on the ebay seller's listing, it doesn't state the refresh rate from what I was able to see.

Worth getting the 5410 now with the deal or wait for a deal for the 7410 to come back again? Heard the 7000 series has much better build quality than the 5000 series.

10th and 11th are trash. Would pay double price for 12gen and later

Def wait! I had the 5410 I believe with an 10th gen i7, and the built quality was far below the 7490 I had with an 8th gen. I promptly sold it as quick as I could. The 7000s and 9000s series have an much better built quality, and sometimes you can get an decent deal on eBay that will include an long warranty. That covers everything and anything wrong lol. I literally brought one from eBay with ProSupport Plus and told Dell after the warranty was transferred to me that I wanted the SSD and battery replaced. They didn't ask any reason why, and I got to the keep the SSD. So I got an new SSD, and a new battery.

LOL, to do what - make your Excel macros run faster? None of these are gaming laptops and 10th Gen is perfectly fast for what these machines are meant to do. Paying "double" for a 12th gen in a productivity machine is silly.

I had checked on the website[dell.com] and seen that these displays were the only configurations they had unless it's a 4th option that's missing

When you told them you wanted parts replaced, did you send them the laptop and they replaced the parts for you? Or do they just send you the parts and you have to replace them yourself?

They had me keep the laptop and I just replaced it my self YMMV tho. Def worth it. I just seen two decent deals on eBay I may be looking at buying 😂.

Looks like it can, on Dell's page: "1 Thunderbolt™ 4 port with DisplayPort™ and Power Delivery"
