It is a reasonably very good deal...but it is not the spec you want, which is the 12700h model - that gets dedicated 3050ti graphics.

This to me is pretty meh, I had the 3050ti version for about 30 days, I would crush the battery on it in under or around 2 hours with no matter what settings I used. It was a great form factor for work, where I could discreetly game when I am taking a break, but for the $800 I paid just wasn't worth it at the time.

How was the noise compared to a full size laptop while gaming and non-gaming? These thin and light portables worry me, especially for the heat output you may feel.

In almost all cases it was whisper quiet, the fan would only be slightly audible when gaming, but it was still way quieter than my work laptop.

Dang, what games were you playing if you don't mind answering? I play warthunder on my g14 and legion 5. It's impossible for me to avoid fans going full whoosh.

I play primarily roguelikes and 4X, FTL/Stellaris/ Dungeons of the Endless/HOI4 all of them are barely audible when I was playing on the Flow. I was also primarily playing off batteries and not plugged in, when I did plug in it was about the exact same noise levels.

I would say don't buy this for heavy gaming(anything other than Fortnite Minecraft Roblox). I think you would be better off buying a steam deck, or Xbox series S at that point
