Posting this option for those who prefer a vertical Gameboy-style form factor in 4:3 aspect ratio vs. the 4.95" 960x544 OLED screen in 16:9 aspect ratio found in the RG505 ($101.63 here).
How useful is the touchscreen for this? I wouldn't use it for gameplay unless for DS emulation?
Android is nice to have even just to be able to access your roms from other network devices or from cloud storage. For emulation I can't see a use case for it given the 4:3 screen and low resolution.
As someone who loves vertical handhelds I will say that I don't find this one particularly comfortable to hold. There's lot of space which is nice but the ergonomic handles just feel off to me to the point that I'd just prefer a flat back design.
Anybody have this and the 35xx? Really wanted to upgrade to something with a bigger screen and better ergonomics. My hands cramp up on the smaller vertical handhelds, want to see if this is the answer
FYI, This is approaching 6 months since release, so it's about time for the next version to come out. China tech's only option to fight back against clones is to release a better model every 6 months.
That's why Chinese phones and drones get a new model every 6 months as well

I have a miyoo mini(Non-plus) and the difference is night and day. The 405V is super comfortable. I used to get hand cramps trying to play any two handed game but the 405V is made to be held instead of be as small as possible.
I have this and I really like it. Runs a decent bit of PS2/Gamecube WITH SOME WORK, and everything below that really well. 4:3 screen looks great for everything except PSP/PSVita.
Controls are good, only complaint is the inner shoulder buttons are the same height as the outer ones, making them a bit hard to get to. Not a dealbreaker by any stretch.
Got this off of a coupon a month or two ago for $110, would definitely buy again. (Fake)Wood-grain is a funny color for a handheld, highly recommend it.
Make sure to look up GammaOS, improves performance in harder to run games and is overall a better OS.
I just bought a R36S handheld the other day for around $35 in total which I consider a more worthwhile option due to its price and since I plan to emulate up to PSP on it.

This is the most powerful vertical system I believe
