I'm happy I grew up in simpler times for many reasons. Toys isn't one of them,…would've been in heaven to have something like this as a kid. Best I had was a plastic gun that shot lightweight rubber darts about 6 feet so slowly that if I shot a bug at close range it would laugh at me. Never took long for the thin spring inside to lose tension & the the 6 foot travel went down to 2

Dang, thats an amazing price if the MSRP is to be believed. Looks like Nerf is playing catch up to all the China brand gel blaster guns.

I'm in heaven as a 34 year using a toy like this for adult tasks, like using it to remove nesting birds on a soffit area in my covered archway in front of the house😃

Sort of. As I recall, it springs closed on its own after you draw it back. It's designed to be the "sniper rifle" of the Gelfire line, supposedly with more distance and accuracy, but I didn't really find that it worked that well, so I returned it.
