Costco has the better version for $7.99 for 50 qt ( approx. 2 cu.ft.)
$2 off the usual until 3/31.

It seems like 'garden soil's is very commonly just compost materials, and very inconsistent between batches even if the same item

I have 20 acres of dirt thats been fertilized by nature. If you are close to Central Valley. Id give it to you for free

For those complaining about these being poor quality, just buy any soil then mix in your own perlite, moss, solid fertilizer etc. It'll be a lot cheaper and arguably better. For example I got a 40 lb bag of spaghnum moss for $35 and a 20 lb bag of perlite for $20 (from home depot) and mixed that with scrappy soil and blood/bone meal

Came to say exactly this. Way better bang for your buck and you know exactly what's in your soil. These pre-made mixes are mostly only bark these days anyway. Even black kow manure is like that now. Used to be high quality stuff.
