Also has a higher max polling rate (4000Hz vs 1000Hz) and optical switches instead of mechanical.
I read up on both versions a fair bit when buying mine and by and large it seemed to come down to the charging port being 5-pin USB-A on version 1 and USB-C on version 2.

Anyone have an opinion on this verses the MX?
I've been using MX for work and I thought I was happy with it. I recently got the ASUS ROG Gladius III Wireless AimPoint Gaming Mouse. It's lightweight, a day and night difference compared to MX in weight. And it's replacing my MX for sure. I love the infinite scroll and horizontal scroll of my MX, but the day to day use, lightweight wins by far.

I have owned probably 25+ different gaming mice... I got obsessed with trying different ones and paracording them. As soon as I tried one of these I stopped and never have wanted to use anything else. Best mouse on the market hands down and the 2 makes small improvements.

It sucks that with every device they get a new USB receiver. Can this be used with multiple computers?

My current mouse coming from version 1. The left and right clicks use a new switch that provides a " meatier" click. Requires a bit more pressure and isn't like version one with a much more delicate click. You can feel it and hear it. I prefer the feel of version one. But usb c is nice.

I felt the same way until I tried the Glorious Model O 2 PRO after my PRO X SUPERLIGHT broke down. Now I find myself preferring it. It's even lighter, better for fingertip grip IMO, has less drag on the bottom, and you can change DPI with a button at the top.

Had a few Glorious Mice and was never a huge fan. A little too fat for me. They make some good stuff though, I use the GMMK Pro

This series of Omron does not solve the problem.

static solution
1.Turning off the mouse power
2. pressing each button vigorously can eliminate the static electricity generated by continuous clicking .about 1 min

If the static solution doesn't work, you will have to scrape off the dirt, but the parts are so small that there is a high probability of failure.
There is a tutorial on Youtube, take out a metal plate and scrape off the dirt and it will be back to normal.

I removed it and it's working fine now.
thanks, that's reason enough for me to not get this. i've went thru quite a few mice due to double clicking issues (not exclusive to logitech, but razer and others as well) that i treat them as disposable products that last 12-18 months, so i stick with cheap ones (g305 at the moment).

Thanks for the response. I read it, just still not sure why it is worth 3x what I paid for my MX. Honestly, the MX is pretty good.

I have the MX - as far as non-gaming mice go, I'd say it's one of the best, if not the best, in terms of ergonomics and certain features. However, I would never use it for gaming, as I find noticeable input lag compared to dedicated gaming mice.
