You mean during the clearance a few years ago when they left HomeDepot and switched to Lowes. Good luck for waiting for another clearance deal.

Acme tools usually runs the deal on refurbished with a 4.0 battery sometimes for under $180.

I bought it and it was brand new, the battery has a date of a couple months old too.

I bought the 765 cfm blower last week from Amazon with the free battery and returned the free battery to make the blower $204. It's a nice blower, but I am sure this one would have worked just as well for my use case. I kind of would rather have the 2.5AH battery to save weight as I don't need the runtime of the 5ah. It's a wash though and no one has ever said I wish my leaf blower was weaker.

I have this blower with the 4.0 battery. I swapped that battery to my trimmer. The extra weight balances the trimmer much better and the 2.5 in this blower makes it less of a beast to lug around and I get enough run timer for what I need.

Thank you! I was able to price match with lowes for pick-up. do have patience with their chat, took 30 minutes! I have this blower and it's great, just need a new one because it's so good, it accidentally sucked up my jogger pant string and broke one of the small fans.
