Works well but definitely on the small side. You can fit a brisket on it but no room for anything else, including the top rack. Temperature is about 25° hotter than what the smoker says. My drip pan/heat shield came with some surface rust on it and Amazon gave me a 30% refund when I reached out. I then contacted Cuisinart and they sent me new pieces for free! Regardless, I keep the pan wrapped in foil for easy clean up.

Don't do it. I bought it last year and it's been nothing but problems and their customer service is terrible.

Works well but definitely on the small side. You can fit a brisket on it but no room for anything else, including the top rack. Temperature is about 25° hotter than what the smoker says. My drip pan/heat shield came with some surface rust on it and Amazon gave me a 30% refund when I reached out. I then contacted Cuisinart and they sent me new pieces for free! Had this for almost a year before the hopper box set on fire during cooldown, which cooked the electronics box. Lots of reviewers had the same issue, but those happened after I had already purchased.

The Amazon one has a sear plate, the sams club one does not which means no nice sear on a steak. They both lack easy ash cup clean out, which is annoying not to have. Reviews in general are better on the sams, but both for me are a pass.

Next pellet grill I buy, needs to have the external adjustment on the sear plate, not the manual slide while in use. Also needs to have easy ash cup clean out as removing all the silt from the drum is time consuming and really dirty work unless you have no neighbors next to you and can just leaf blower it all away onto your property.

But… if you google: "Camp Chef XT 24", there should be a Rural King one that is not priced correctly. If you go into your local Rural King, they price match against their website.
