I honestly feel like Gain cleans our family's clothes as well as Tide ever did. We used Tide for years, but my daughter brought home Gain because of the scent, and we have used it ever since. BTW I am an operator at a refinery, so I have diesel fuel, burner fuel, and gasoline range material on my clothing regularly. So, for hydrocarbon based stains, I can attest that there is no difference between the cleaning power of these brands better than most.

Decent deal. Same price/load as in the warehouse stores like Sam's.

Also, no need to use the $10 cart trick Smilie

While not as highly rated as Tide, in all likelihood this works fine for most people. I'm sure it removes coffee stains and BO just fine.

You get what you pay for...stick with Costco (if you have a membership) or Tide. Gain is probably fine if you'll never have stains, but I'm sure most will have something (grass, food, grease, etc.).

I got the same prompt. I followed through and it just upgraded my free Walgreens account to a free Plus Membership.

Having no experience with Tide and doing no personal research, I was curious if Tide is actually proven to be superior to Gain, with testing.

Like you, I'm using Gain because someone else in the family liked the scent. We mostly don't ever have stained or super dirty clothes, like you with the fuel from work, so I wonder how important all of that is.

Also, never tried the Oxi variety. Anyone know if its significantly better than regular plain Gain?

Thanks OP!! WAG10 worked great and had some Walgreens rewards I knew nothing about which got it down to $6.77.
