It has a "one year limited Apple warranty". Surely Apple doesn't warrantee fake crap.

Damnit. Would have been nice if this was in the original post. My fault, but I missed it on the woot site.
IMO the knockoffs are pretty good in general. I despise the sport band, it just irritates my skin and arm hair. The velcro sport loop is my preference, and for those there's a bigger quality gap bw Apple and fake.
$0.02 after 3-4 watches and about 10 bands.
And similarly priced for this sale.
