The American/Legendary films are(distributor is WB). Shin Godzilla is not. An easy way to find out is to go to the MA website and search for the movie title.

The one linked in the OP is the English language version. This one [amazon.com] is the Japanese language version, and it also appears to be on sale.

I've seen a few copies of Shin Godzilla on 4K Blu-ray pop up on eBay. If your have a 4K player that plays discs of all regions (not sure if the movie is region-locked), that might be the best bet.

I haven't yet, but from what little I've seen, it doesn't look like a man in a suit running around so it seems it'd be an improvement. lol

I do own both the English language & Japanese language version on Vudu and I just checked my Japanese language version on Vudu and it does have English subtitles, not sure about the Amazon one.
