I'm sure you'll get the CP as soon as 2 ows or 1rt travel completed on 5/22. Then, you can book trips & use CP on the promo periods.

If they booked separately they'd both qualify. Unfortunately, only the person booking the flight qualifies

I am sure hoping so. I just updated my flight today and saved $65 on each ticket. Since the confirmation number stays the same I'm hoping I still get the deal.
We got a pass previously that was good in January of 2023.. used it for a couple of trips.

I rebooked a trip that I just completed - confirmation number stayed the same and companion pass added to my account as soon as trip was completed last week.
So it appears that as long as the original confirmation number is unchanged then you should still qualify for the companion pass.
