I'm trying to avoid what I think southwest wants which is last minute travel with higher priced tickets…

And, no, it does not show up anymore in my SWA app (iOS) under offers tab bottom right, at least not since around noon today, as I already mentioned. (Though the app did send me a notification earlier this morning announcing the extension and at that time the extended-deadline offer terms were shown/linked in the SWA app offers tab.)
But yes the deal is in fact valid until 11:59 PM Central Time on March 28, as shown on this webpage, which I already pointed out in a prior message.
