Bought this in 2019 for $288 on black Friday deal. No regrets, amazing monitor. After 5 years just noticed one stuck or dead pixel this year with thousands of hrs on it. Only gripe would be that it doesn't tilt, and only has one display port.

Just upgraded to a 32' 4k monitor from this one and I miss gaming on this one already. I think it just strikes the perfect resolution/size. It's my secondary now but man this monitor is a beast. Great price.

Whoa.. I bought this for $375 back in 2021.. man. not sure what the prices were back then but this is a great price! best monitor i've had so far. no issues. I like that you can raise and lower the monitor really easily and looks great gaming.

LG has so many variants of the same monitor…I don't understand.

I have the original 27GL850-B that came out.

Then they released this I think and some other variant.

Then they released a 27GN800-B which I bought as a second monitor.

Probably still others out there. The colors on my original are the best and on the 27GN800-B the matte coating is absolutely horrendous…like someone just smeared vaseline all over it and it won't come off.

Did you go with OLED? I have two of these LG's (not same model but same thing). 32" I think not only would be too big for competitive gaming, what I do most, but also I don't want my second monitor to be so far away.

I accidentally scratched my 27GL850-B last year with the corner of my keyboard...right in the middle of the panel.

I am so nervous buying another monitor because the colors are incredible, and I'm nervous I'm going to get a different panel that is too warm or too cool, and not just right.

Is the GL83A-B the same panel/essentially the same monitor?

Edit: I see it's missing the USB ports. I think these monitors came out at the same time, with this one not including the USB ports.

I am looking for G-Sync compatible model. This is $210. Do you know of a variant that offers similar spec to this spec but sub $200?

I wouldn't recommend a 32" 1440p, pixel density (ppi) is noticeably low.

1440p monitors getting more affordable.

This LG monitor used to be the go to in the past.
