This exact monitor is on a FP deal as we speak for $778. That makes this PC $2122 on this deal.

Interested to hear why would you prefer the 4080 over the 7900xtx for a $2100 PC? I've owned both, and the recent 4080S, the only way I was able to have the 4080 win over the XTX was in RT.

Ok cool, thanks. So you listed the technological differences as well as capabilities. I'm basic when I play my games. High fps, good quality. No streaming or encoding to worry about. And when it comes to gameplay and fps I use native resolutions of my display. In my tests, my XTX was the winner compared to the 4080 with my preferred max settings which is why I asked. Maybe certain people can benefit more from those missing features

You're kinda pointing out the obvious but yes, if you don't need/want the additional features offered by NVIDIA, save some money and go with the AMD card.

It also depends on what games you play. certain games with heavy rt and path training you won't be able to max the settings out with a 7900 xtx. But yeah the 7900 xtx is definitely the better value choice

for me I am currently more comfortable with team green right now. Im rocking 3090ti and want to grab a 4090 but cost is insanely overpriced so 4080 or 4080s Is my go to. Do you recommend team red instead and why?

I can grab the 7900xtx at microcenter near me for 800 great price. But I'm currently playing Alan Wake 2 just want to push it a bit harder and also cyber punk my second play though I'm looking for RT ultra. Like I said no shade to AMD much better price performance I'm just eyeballing 1 of 3 cards 4090 4080 or 4080s
