I ordered a 60 unit pack from Woot 2 weeks ago, it was delivered in a badly damaged box that had been resealed. There were only had 30 pods in there too.

Woot customer service has been impossible to work with. Anyone have a suggestion? Emailing them seems hopeless. Boilerplate non-responses that take multiple days to respond asking for information that is then ignored.

I would try to initiate a return for an item that arrive defective/damaged. Anything else and they will try to stall and give you the runaround

This is only really for people with Nespresso machines. They're coffee pods for the Vertuo Line of Nespresso machines. Not really difficult to understand here.

They sell espresso "shots", double shots, and 7.77oz full coffee cup sized pods. That is a valid question.

I know it's a lot to ask, but you can visit https://www.nespresso.com/us/en/v...offee-pods and see that Vertuo line has 7 predefined sizes:
Ristretto: 0.85 oz
Espresso: 1.35 oz
Double Espresso: 2.7 oz
Gran Lungo: 5.07 oz
Coffee: 7.77 oz
Alto: 12 oz
Carafe: 18 oz

You can also read what WOOT listing says....
IL Cafe: Best served as 1.35 oz Espresso
Double Espresso Chiaro: Brews 2.7 Ounce (literally in the header)
Orafio: Best served as 1.35 oz espresso
Mexico: Serving Size: 230 ml - Mug (this is a tricky one, I agree. But 230ml = 7.7oz)
Inizio: Brews 5 oz (literally in the header)

The woot page explains in plain English the volume of each drink. That's actually more information than saying "double shot" "gran lungo" or "coffee"

Check the best by date if you're concerned about using 60 of these by that date. It's on the product page. Inizio is Best By: 05/2024

Is Woot a good/reliable site to order? This seems to be very good deal given its rare there is any discount for nespresso virtuo pods.

Last Nespresso deal from Woot I ordered the Odacio and it's been totally fine, but man, the packaging it came in reeked of like gasoline or autobody shop paint or something, it was overpoweringly strong.

Yes, Woot is reliable (though some of the items may have damaged packaging). Woot is owned by Amazon.com - I believe they acquired the business back in 2010.

Woot is essentially a platform where Amazon can offload excess inventory from their vendor accounts (big brands/sold and shipped by Amazon). If you are an Amazon FBA seller, you can also liquidate your own goods (maybe it's a dead product/not selling, just collecting and being charged Amazon fees) - sometimes private label sellers liquidate their inventory and it now belongs to Amazon. Amazon then either puts it on Woot to sell or sell it on liquidation pallets to resellers.
