Good monitor for a good price, though read reviews. People state failures after a certain amount of time.

If you signed up for Samsung Edu (anyone can do this, not just students i found out) this was at $390. I was able to pick up at best buy for that price.

Are you happy with it? Does it work well for office work in addition to being a gaming monitor?

so far yes, but the tizen software definitely creates some weird issues for this monitor compared to a monitor without any tv style software. Also the viewing angles are not that great. But for the price the color is fairly accurate. I haven't gamed much so far but i had a VA monitor before and i don't know if this is much of an improvement for gaming. But definitely better for productivity tasks than a VA monitor.

I have the Samsung 32" Odyssey Neo G8, yes different from this one. But, it's the worst monitor I've ever owned. Such that I would never buy another Samsung. It's been impossible to get the colors right. In gaming the blacks are too dark and bumping up any brightness or chaning black equalizer doesn't help. Having VRR on while working causes scanlines, unless you are in 120hz mode. I've never been more frustrated with a monitor. My 2019 Dell 32" VA displays games so much better. Sad.
