It's all fuzzy math anyways when retail is so inflated.
\they likel6y are buying qty's of 100's if not 1000'd, so probably getting better prices than other retailers, who maybe buying 5-10, so don't need to discount and waiting for people who may not know any better

you mentioned how other stores don't discount these or other speakers... that's what the reference was for... i.e those stores who don't have sales have little inventory and rely on others to pay full price (who don't come here and know any better).
