Dont buy this. Got this deal via ebay, unit immediately made a clicking noise when rotating. Stopped working after a week. Dyson told me to ship to them for a replacement, I did took over a month and numerous phone calls to get them to send a unit. It arrived a week after it shipped, I plugged it in and it instantly tripped my surge protector and reeked of electrical smoke. Worst customer service I've ever experienced and horrible QC on products.

I don't know, always liked Dyson products. Maybe a bad unit or two

I have bought many Dyson products over the years and currently own 4 fans, 2 vacuums, and my wife owns 2 of their hair products. Though I don't doubt those who say they've had issues, I personally haven't had any problems with mine. I wouldn't buy them at full MSRP but at this price I might buy another one.

Ordered via eBay for the 2 year warranty. It's also on sale at Dyson with 10% cashback from certain sites--but only has 6 months warranty.

Got this unit for Christmas and absolutely love it. Wild how well it works. The app is nearly instantaneous. I've seen this unit for 200.00 before so this isn't the hottest deal, but I love mine.

I have the opposite experience, my replacement is on its way to me and I sent 8! my damaged Dyson last week.

Bought one off ebay at a similar price in January and I am impressed. It is fairly quiet at lower speeds, blows out a decent amount of cool air at higher speeds, purifies the air for a larger area (thus the higher price), and is solidly built. My only issue is that it is supposed to be placed 18" away from the wall, I wanted to hide it in a corner of the living room.

I almost went for it because it's a great deal, but I've been on a spending spree lately so I had to stop myself. If this unit goes on a similar sale in black then I'd be all-in.

I've had 3 Dyson stick vacs and they've been great, but I've had 2 Dyson Hot/Cold fans (AM09 and HP02) and both failed due to errors after 1-2 years, the heater stopped working on both. These are too expensive to be worth them failing again.

Look at reviews online for their heaters. Lots of folks who, like myself, bought one paying $$$ to find in just a few years there's an irreparable error even if you're handy. They glue parts of these units together, making it impossible to disassemble and repair without significant cosmetic damage. Never again.

I own their hair dryer, bought it in 2017. Has seen use every day. Wife bought Dyson AirWrap 3-4 years ago or maybe less, seen use at least three times a week. Bought TP02 from their eBay store, a similar coupon used to save another 20%. The total cost was about $200. That thing has been running 24/7, and zero issues. The latter made my kitty's life a lot of easier. She used to sneeze a lot, some kind of allergy. Was recommended air purifier, and it worked.

Living a small apartment, and making a burger and/or using some kind of Indian/Middle Eastern spices? Go for it!

This is what I was telling my wife. Buying all-in-one is not an idea. I like things for one dedicated purpose. Was about to pull the trigger, going to pass on it. Sorry that you are dealing with this issue

Same thing happened with me. Took months to get a replacement and had to go with a different color due to stock.

Got the HP4B model from Costco a few months ago for $400. No complaints so far--I'll leverage Costco's extended warranty if it craps out on me after a year.

The heater component has been really nice during the winter months to maintain a comfortable 73 degree temperature in my bedroom while I sleep. The heater will come back on during the night if the temperature in the room. This is much better than my previous solution of blasting a tiny space heater in the bedroom for an hour before bed and then turning it off--the heat would inevitably leak out of the room by morning.

The included air purifier was what pushed me to buy it, as I have terrible allergies and already have a Coway purifier in another room.
