i think you just had bad luck with that one. i purchased a mb last year, one of these reconditioned msi lga 1700 mb and it works fine with my current 13th i5. i made sure to update the bios with that flash function the msi mb has. very convenient since you dont need a cpu for it.

Was it from Newegg by any chance? Gamersnexus had a similar experience and it was well documented how Newegg refused to take responsibility and shift blame to the consumer for something that was their fault.

Well I know someone who's getting it. Considering woot customer service is usually pretty good, worst case scenario you get a refund. And you don't have to deal with the nonsense Newegg puts you through with their refurb units

Quality today is better than 5 yrs ago, but still a dice throw as to problems.
I have an Asus Prime B550 Plus that's been thru thousands of hours of use with zero problems.
And I should add it was put together by iBuypower, lots of haters out there.
