I haven't tried this Propel version but I did just buy the Gatorade tablet deal here, and I've used Nuuns (basically the same thing) for years. In my experience, they take a minute but dissolve fully on their own.
Reasons to buy instead of bottles of Gatorade:

Some people prefer Propel flavors to Gatorade.
$0.26 apiece, vs whatever you pay for premade drinks, which is surely more.
Many places offer free water on site, and these are way lighter and more compact than full bottles. Good for travelling, easy to store.

Does this dissolve easily in room temp water or do you have to put it in the bottle in advance, if so, why not just buy bottled gatorate and bring with you? What is the advantage of these?

I love that I can have 10 Gatorades/propels with me in such a compact form. I go to work for 14 hours and I bring my insulated water bottle and a tube of these. I'm set all day. Imagine carrying 10 Gatorade's or buying from a vending machine all day. These are affordable and practical.

I agree in that I hate waiting for these to dissolve but buying plastic bottles is hugely wasteful and takes much more space to store. for the price I'll probably buy these anyway but I tend to stick to MiO or the generic squeeze concentrate. still in plastic bottles but much smaller and very fast to dissolve completely.

I got the Gatorade ones and surprisingly thought it tasted pretty good. Obviously the tablets are way cheaper than buying Gatorade bottles. If you can't wait a couple minutes for a tablet to dissolve, you should probably put the tablet in a couple minutes earlier.
These came out to $8.04 before tax

Like another said, .26 for a 32 oz drink is a no brainer. No sugar is key too. Also, gatorade and powerade in the store bottles not only shrunk to 20 ozs from 32, but went UP in price.

Most of the bottles did shrink but from 32 oz to 28 oz. The multipacks have always had much smaller bottles, those might have actually increased in size because I believe they went from 20oz to 16.9oz (500 mL) then back to 20oz.

The Gatorade Gatorade tables are pretty icky... i mean I still drink them, but they're just "off". Hopefully these are better, can't pass up the final price on this to try.

These taste like garbage in comparison to the zero sugar Gatorade ones, G-Fuel and Game Supps. Buy with low expectations.

I like the propel packets for a zero calorie refreshing drink while working in the yard. I'm not sure about these, but the packets are clear, so I guess there are no unnecessary artificial colors that sometimes give me a stomach ache. The artificial sweeter doesn't bother my stomach, thankfully. In for a set! $8.04 with S&S
