I have a calendar alert that repeats on March 1st that has the number of bags I used. If I use more, I'll just update it. It gives me a rough reminder of how many I need.

This is $2 but if I want to avoid the artificial colors and get the garden bark that's $6.76. Ridiculous

We find the bags easier than bulk, though the mulch quality is lower. We order 2 pallets delivered then load them up on my Gorilla cart and drop throughout the planting berms. Then come back with a knife to split the bag open, dump, and then spread. Save the time to shovel into a cart from a big pile.
Bulk double ground by me is $30 a cubic yard and brown color enhanced is $39.

I have a Slickdealer neighbor who always asks me to pick up about 60 bags of mulch every year on this deal. Last night I saw him unloading his own small car with an ungodly amount of mulch, so I can only assume that he got the deal from here. I want to make it clear that I did offer to help, but I think he wanted to break some kind of world record for amount of lawn supplies carried in a single trip with a Toyota Prius.
I just wanted to get here and clear my name before he tried to say I was a bad mulch neighbor/friend or something.
Used a prius, always be able to load alot of stuff. (Over 1500 lbs once). Crazy little toy car, sold it may year.

13.5 bags works out to roughly a yard of mulch. Great deal, a yard of bulk mulch is going for 35 around me.

That is an impossible question to answer. The mulch varies by location since it is a local product. The suppliers will also vary in each location. Sometimes you will get good mulch at a location and then next time it is bad. For $2 mulch, you can't expect much. For me, I don't care since this stuff stops weeds. These are things to be aware of:
1. Color is way off from pallet to pallet.
2. In some bags the mulch is wood chips and in other bags it looks like gorilla moss. There is no consistency from pallet to pallet.
3. Some bags will have white mold, fungus, or whatever that crap is.

Regardless of these issues, I still buy it. I will wait for Home Depot since Lowes doesn't offer military discount. Home Depot usually does.

$27.50 a yard. If I didn't need 300 bags I would jump on this.
My Lowes has no limits on number of bags

It is called 'Dog Vomit Slime Mold'. It comes in yellow and white varieties.

FWIW, the ~50 bags I just bought were much different and in the 'wood chip' category that you describe. I think depending on the region or drop, you can get a wide range of types/quality. The stuff around here in Northern California outside the Bay Area is consistently wood chips with a few pieces of chipped construction wood.
Last time a neighbor used chip drop around me, they got tons of leaves and cut up branches. They had to pay to get it removed.

If I place my order online by tomorrow how long do you think they will give me to pickup? I need 20 more bags but the weather is going to be nasty the next few days

I count my bushes and get one bag for each bush plus one for the end.

They cancel after 7 days but they won't set these aside for you either

Don't spread misinformation. The MSC (mulch and soil council) has a standard for how it's produced. All the dyes used today are natural element/colorant. Iron oxide for red and carbon black (charcoal) for black.

Just picked up 15 bags. Best to pick up in pickup bed or line your car with a tarp or trash bag. I don't have a truck, used my minivan, and manure infused water leaked into my van after the employees loaded them into the van. It's a hard smell to get out. The mulch was probably kept next to the manure.

Not sure if I missed it but is this the same price instore? Or do I need to buy online and go pick it up? Need to go later to grab a few things and easier to just grab it myself while there then wait to pick it up.
