Walmart is 50 cents a pound, rough 5 bananas.

So ....this is 40 cents a pound 😆 if I buy them by the single 🍌
Sams has their bananas at 50 cents/lb. For the 3lbs you get about 7 bananas for $1.50. I paid $1.92 for 24 large bananas

I don't eat fruit but in here for the comments
Botanically speaking, a banana is a berry.
You know that not all berries are REAL fruit so you can nab this deal and start with this not fruit

Problem with this deal is that bananas go bad within days with or without refrigeration so you can only really buy a few. There's no real savings here.

Trader Joes recently quietly raised the price of banana from 19 cents each to 23 each. Can't blame them. It's been 19 cents each forever.

bananas are somehow inflation proof, it's been generally the same price since I was a kid. It's actually cheaper as each day passes.
"According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, prices for bananas are 467.94% higher in 2024 versus 1947"
