I won't bother to mention all the good things about this helmet. Here are the things that I have noted.
- It was killing my ears on multi-day long distance rides. I removed the speaker pocket covers, and all is well now.
- I haven't found any need for the air adjustable fit feature after trying it multiple times. I leave it without any air pressure.
- I normally wear a size large in Scorpions. This helmet is tight in a large. Maybe bordering on too tight. After about 10 full days or more of riding, it's become acceptable.
I think I have this helmet. If so, I'll come back and post my thoughts.
By the way, I love the adjustable fit air pumps. As your helmet breaks in, you can get some of that original snugness back.
Also, while this is a good deal, these can be had for closer to $330 on the regular. You're saving money, but not really $150.

I'd caution buying this one. It is not as light as it should have been using the claimed material.

Lol how many helmets do you own that you don't remember if you have this one or not.

I like this helmet more than the original GT Air. I haven't compared to the new GT Air but, with this price difference and performance, why would I? The weight is awesome. I never want a helmet heavier than this one, though my understanding is that the new requirements are going to raise weights across the board. Sucks. I'm more concerned about neck damage than marginal impact protection (if I need that impact protection, good chance my neck is screwed anyway, in which case, just cave my head in and be done with it).
The only thing that bugs me about it is that I get some helmet lift on the interstate. That said, I ride a naked GSX-S 750, and I've never tried the other helmets on this bike. At minimum, the bike is at least a part of my problem.
If you don't need a drop visor, there might be better and lighter options. For me, the drop visor is non-negotiable.
I would 100% buy this helmet twice. In fact, I did.

With helmet lift you don't have to worry about the weight of the helmet.
