I don't think it's a bad game. Most reviews are bad from people who buy it every year. Seems like it's the same game. But for me since I don't have any other version I enjoyed it 👍🏼

Can anyone comment on gameplay issues they've experienced? I heard the online gameplay is bad, but I'm only interested in the offline game.

I used to buy every NHL game every year, and I am a completionist when it comes to gaming. That trophy for beating the Gretzky record has been in the game for about 10 years now, is brutal to do once, let alone multiple times. But this shows they have been super lazy BAP mode, the only changes they have made to it in 10 years is add these horrible dialogue cutscenes you can't skip.

I am due to buy another NHL game, the gameplay of hockey videogames is great, but I won't be until they do something other than recycling the same modes and attached trophies year after year.
