This is a medium roast, but the beans are dry so they feed well with a superautomatic. Still a bit smoky, decent crema, nice aroma and a pleasant lingering aftertaste. Good as an espresso blend (strong enough to cut through milk drinks) and also works well as drip, if that's your thing.

Nice, but now I have a years supply with all these sales lol. Have to be sure to check off both the 10 and 15% coupon, more than usual.

Are we sure this is DARK ROAST? usually this one is medium.... And In description it shows:

I did this sale last time around. I'd call this a 6/10 intensity and slightly less that medium roast. If you try to increase the amount of beans or change the grind to get a bolder taste it becomes bitter.

that's not good. i'd rather use a fresh roasted bean than one that's a year old.
