The 16" chainsaw isn't a bad deal, but the others are awful. It seems like the price of the 14" is unusually high in comparison to other sizes from a lot of different stores.
I have the 18" and it's a great tool, but I wouldn't be running out for these particular deals unless you need one ASAP.

I also have the 18" and chose it because I considered it a big upgrade from the 16". Not just the bar length, but it has metal dogs. less deflection, better overall build quality etc. I didn't go for the 20" because I really don't need that reach, but slightly regret it since the difference in price (between the 18 and 20) is probably absorbed by the case the 20 comes with.
I like this saw, but I'm on my 3rd one and I am sad at how disposable they've made the tool. They keep warranty replacing it but it's not very reliable. One just went completely dead out of nowhere and the other the brake stopped staying engaged.
The first time it died I did what I've always done with my tools which is find the parts diagram and price out just changing the part, but they did something I am seeing more and more: the motor, trigger, control board is all one "part" that costs more than the tool itself.
They have you send it out for "repair" but they always just end up mailing me a new one.
Thumbs down because u can get the 20" kit from HD for $253 …. After hack… so better and bigger saw for cheaper , or am I missing something here?

Just search 20" chainsaw on Home Depot and it will come up with the 9ah battery as free add on that is hackable
Thanks. Actually found it and currerntly agonizing between that deal this deal and one on another online retailer that is going for $500 but has two 12ah flexvolts.

I'm seeing 3Ah? Where did you see 9?
