The beads are supposed to be biodegradable. It's more of an airsoft alternative than a nerf gun. Hurts less than airsoft but I wouldnt buy one for a young kid.

I was really happy with it. They shoot farther and fast than I expected. I'm going to grab one of each of these as well. At this deep of a discount they definitely seem worth it to me.

Last time I bought something similar from Amazon (with gel beads) they ended up sending an email that these so called safe to use gel beads were actually not safe at all and was prompted to discard of the item immediately.

i tried both of these at the nerf booth at SDCC - the pump action shotgun one was more comfortable to reload and fire, but the aim down sights was better on the other. but at this price, i'll just get both!

Just bought one of these last week...honestly pretty fun! Stings if you shoot someone within 15-20ft. Definitely not a children's toy, but can't wait to shoot my 16 year old nephew with it 😅
