They don't want us value-seekers patronizing them. We're too fiscally savvy for their high profit margin business models.

So it seems that Rubio's has the worst deal and Wienerschnitzel's is the best. While the rest of the field is just BOGO free.

Yeah, I remember reading about that in school. In April 1344, burritos stormed the castle in Japan I guess and freed the prisoners. Calendars were new back then so they just said first Thursday and called it good.

Burritos are something that you would buy from a restaurant but never make at home.

I actually like my ground beef tacos made at home more than anything else from a Mexican restaurant. Taco Casa in Texas is the closest to that experience I've seen.
I have never had a burrito at home as good as the best restaurant or best taco truck I visit.

Once you get the meat cooked right, everything else is easy. Most of these places are just using stuff from Sysco. The sauces are hard to replicate though. This one in Mexicantown, Detroit has this yellow sauce that's incredible. I think it's made with Aji Amarillo peppers. Think it's Taqueria El Rey or something.

A high heat grill and oven is essential though.

I was thinking the same thing. Chipotle can keep their food poisoned burritos. 🤢🦠💊💉

Couldn't have said it better!!....In my area their burritos are $10-13 depending on protein (thats without optional guac or queso, which would add another $3-4). So, about $11-18 or more with tax, NOT including a drink, for an item with maybe $1-2 in ingredients at their cost. Wish my businesses could have generated that kind of profit!

I always go for places that make their own tortillas
