Gotta be the best "new" graphics card for the price. Heck, even under like $280... 7600 is a little faster, but uses more power. 6650xt gives more fps than any 3060, but 3060ti is a little faster, has nvidia stuff if you need it, but uses more power and costs more. 🤷 ♂️
I don't understand how they can post 5 pictures of this video card and not a one picture shows the end where you connect your HDMI or Displayport cable. It could clarify the "what output does this have" question at a glance.

I love these. These are the video card most people should probably get instead of spending their whole paycheck on a 4080 or a 4090 or whatever.
Thing is, these run quiet and cool playing just about any game. And most games are not Cyberpunk 2077. You don't need to hear a giant 3 fan card producing 400w of heat. You don't need an expensive power supply. You don't have to use that stupid power connector. It's kinda liberating lol.

"Looking" doesn't show specs... Took two seconds to click the profduct link and look for myself.

Agreed. My media pc has a 7600 which is just slightly faster, paired with a 5600x it can run CP2077 at 1440p high at 100 fps+. Add FSR 3, you have budget cards that will last longer than they should. Only con is 8 gigs of vram, but despite that the 6650xt and 7600 have a nice amount of power for the price point.
So honest question, benchmarks show this only about 8% faster than a GTX 1080 from eight years ago. I've seen 1080's used for $100 or so.
Why are modern cards like the 3060, 4060, 5700XT, 6650XT, etc.. still at the same general performance mark? Do they offer special abilities in certain games or why would I buy/upgrade to this?

It's a new card compared to old, will be more efficient which will translate to cooler, quieter running. If you're only in for pure performance and pure value, and don't need buyer protection/warranty, getting used and old is great and is honestly what I do. But you're asking why there isn't a big shift in performance when you're comparing a classic 1960s v8 muscle car to a new Prius. The 1080 was $600 MSRP when it was released 8 years ago, pre inflation, pre mining, pre scalping, and you're asking why you should pay $200 for a brand new card with 8% better performance today. Hope this helps with perspective.

However, I need my higher resolutions for workstation purposes and I can't imagine going down in resolution in-game at this point.
To all those that can still enjoy a card like this, cheers!! I seriously envy you!
