I'm not a major coffee drinker, as I might have a cup every few days. This stuff is absolutely palatable, compared to many other instant blends I've tried and binned.
And the "real value" is bulk containers of this stuff from your warehouse stores....but those 150-300 serving containers start going stale the moment they're exposed to oxygen. Same goes for fresh coffee beans.
So by the time you're halfway through that container, 3-6 months later....you're drinking very stale dirty water. If there was any flavor to be had, it's long since evaporated into nothingness. Imagine paying several times more for fresh beans that have been exposed to air for weeks, and drinking the same stale coffee.
With these individually sealed pouches, they'll stay fresh long past their "Best when used by" date. As much as I can't stand waste, there's no real better way to go about this. Other than drinking tea.
